About the Role:
As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' functional status, developing individualized intervention plans, and educating clients and their families on how to achieve independent living. You will also work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that each patient receives the highest quality care. Your expertise and compassion will play a crucial role in helping our clients recover from illness or injury and regain their independence.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional status
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients in their homes
- Educate clients and their families on how to achieve independent living
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Current New Jersey Occupational Therapist license
- Prior home care experience preferred, but not required
- Minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA
