Key Responsibilities- Operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle: Safely operate a straight truck, tractor-trailer, or double trailer to deliver products to customers, warehouses, and distributors.
- Deliver Products: Deliver products according to route schedule and customer delivery expectations, adhering to all safety practices and regulations.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with customers, peers, and supervisors to ensure timely and safe delivery of products.
- Maintain Vehicle: Ensure and/or perform proper maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment, including tires, fuel, oil checks, and cleanliness.
- Complete Daily Paperwork: Complete all daily paperwork fully and correctly, including log and trip records, according to company policy and DOT guidelines.
- Perform Load Inventory: Perform load inventory and document condition of freight before departure.
- Attend Training Sessions: Attend all driver workshops and training sessions to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Must have a valid Class A CDL and meet all DOT requirements.
- Experience: 1-2 or more years of experience driving a tractor trailer, straight truck, or doubles trailer, within the last 5 years preferred.
- Motor Vehicle Records: Must meet DFA requirements for Motor Vehicle Records.
