Job Overview

The Asphalt Plant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the asphalt facility, ensuring the production of high-quality asphalt products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of plant personnel to ensure compliance with safety protocols and production targets.
  • Monitor and control the production process, including raw material inventory, equipment maintenance, and quality control.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the plant manager and other departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Manage employee performance, providing coaching, feedback, and training to enhance skills and productivity.
  • Prepare and submit reports on production, safety, and quality metrics.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience in asphalt production or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
