Position Overview As a vital member of our beverage service team, you will be tasked with the following essential responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and skilled mixing, controlling, dispensing, and serving of a diverse range of drinks, including cocktails, liquors, beers, and premium wines.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all bar-related equipment, including coolers, glassware, and service items.
- Engage with patrons to effectively communicate and promote various beverage options, aiming to exceed their expectations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Preferred: At least one year of bartending experience or a degree from a recognized bartending school.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency in the English language are essential. Familiarity with operating a cash register or POS system is required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine is necessary, with a commitment to ongoing learning as directed by management.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, stoop, climb, and reach, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be capable of standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in a lively environment that may include exposure to smoke.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licensing.
- Successful completion of a background investigation is required.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
