Position Summary:
The Clinical Nurse II position in the Intensive Care Nursery involves caring for critically ill newborns in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about family-centered care and will work within a multidisciplinary team.
Department Overview:
The Intensive Care Nursery, along with the Special Care and Transitional Care Nurseries, provides care for over 1,000 infants annually, including those with complex medical needs.
- Expertise in managing acute and chronic conditions in newborns.
- Exposure to a variety of diagnoses, including low birth weight and congenital anomalies.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, requiring a minimum of 2-4 weekend shifts within a 4-week schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional nursing care in alignment with established protocols and physician orders.
- Supervise and guide the activities of other nursing staff.
- Participate in the ongoing development of nursing practices and patient care strategies.
- Engage in professional development and maintain required competencies.
- Contribute to performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
