Job Summary

Foxdale Village Corporation is seeking a part-time Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, as well as trash removal and laundry tasks.
  • Clean restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Make campus rounds to ensure resident and staff security, and respond to incidents as needed.
  • Secure community buildings in the evening and assist with snow removal and de-icing as required.
  • Transport residents to and from the hospital as directed by Health Services.
  • Maintain punctuality and regular attendance to meet the nightly janitorial and security needs of the facility.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of related experience, particularly on an evening shift, is preferred.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
  • Must be able to complete tasks using basic mathematical skills.
  • Must possess a valid PA Driver's License.
