**Requirements**
To join the Air Force as a Podiatric Surgeon, you must meet the following requirements:
* Hold a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an approved school of medicine or osteopathic medicine
* Complete a minimum of 24 months' podiatric surgical residency program
* Have a minimum of six months' experience in podiatry assignments
* Possess a valid and current license to practice podiatric medicine
* Complete the Officer Training School course
* Be between the ages of 18 and 42
