As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide support and care to individuals in intermediate care facilities and their homes. Our comprehensive training program ensures that you have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring their health and safety needs are met.
  • Supervising, teaching, and assisting individuals in all aspects of their lives, including household tasks, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Providing personal care assistance and completing various household tasks.

Requirements:
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Personal, reliable vehicle for transporting individuals served.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
  • Fewer than 6 points in the last three years on your motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to push, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs. and climb, balance, kneel, and crouch.
