ProMedica is seeking a part-time Resident Caregiver to join our team. As a Resident Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming, and hygiene
- Provide food service, housekeeping, and laundry support
- Manage behavior and provide socialization and activities to promote engagement and well-being
- Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Basic reading and writing skills, with ability to speak English in an understandable manner
- Knowledge and experience working with elderly, with previous dementia experience preferred
- Certification required according to state regulations, with successful completion of required training
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods, with ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
