Job SummaryThe Travel Nurse RN Telemetry Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to telemetry patients, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and document findings in the medical record.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing.
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster required.
