About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at MRG Exams Careers. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing medical records electronically through a web portal and conducting focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will also be required to electronically document the exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.

It is essential to note that the Nurse Practitioner does not make disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations.

This position is specifically designed to perform Disability Assessments on Veterans only. You will not be responsible for treating patients or prescribing medication in this role.

As a Nurse Practitioner in this position, you will typically perform Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day, on average. Your schedule will be full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4pm.

This is an in-person position, and you will be working in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete the questionnaire and form medical opinions.
  • Skilled in time management, able to stay on task and meet requirements.
  • Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Proficiently use a computer.
