Fitness Coach

The Fitness Trainer will be responsible for leading the Planet Fitness group fitness program. This includes assisting new members in achieving their fitness goals by designing a workout program and instructing them on equipment use.

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness program, including creating and following the schedule.
• Consult with members on their fitness goals and instruct them on proper equipment use.
• Create bi-weekly updates with a variety of exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist with front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members in, and new member sign-up.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong listener with problem-solving abilities.
• Diplomacy in all interactions.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals.

This club is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchise club, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of that franchise club.
