Certified Welding Inspector Job Summary

Neighbors and Associates is seeking a highly skilled Certified Welding Inspector to join our team. As a Certified Welding Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of welding processes and materials in accordance with AWS D1.1, D1.2, or D1.6 weld codes or company operational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections and audits to verify compliance with welding codes and company standards
  • Mentor and train welding personnel on various welding processes and methods
  • Verify measurements, examinations, and tests to ensure quality standards are met
  • Correspond with personnel to account for approval or rejection of tank parts or components
  • Provide certificates of conformance and maintain records of inspections
Requirements:
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector Certificate
  • ASNT Level 2 Certification preferred
  • Proficient in weld testing and inspection according to applicable weld code requirements
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and welding procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Work Environment:

The Certified Welding Inspector will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation: 28-32 Hourly Wage
