Job Summary: As an Emergency Room Nurse Float Pool member, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the healthcare team to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans. Your expertise and clinical skills will be valued assets to our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Triage, assess and treat patients of all ages.
  • Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
  • Develop plans that prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs continually.
  • You will provide follow-up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals.

Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, multistate or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required.
  • Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric within 90 days of employment start date.
  • PALS obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • 2 years of nursing experience with 1 year in the ER.
