About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Investment Banking Associate to join our Cross Markets Group (CMG) in New York. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients across various industries, including Digital Infrastructure, Telecommunications, and Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT).

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the execution of mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing transactions, and other corporate finance solutions
  • Developing and maintaining financial models, including operating models and industry/company presentations
  • Conducting due diligence and transaction execution processes
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and other stakeholders

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Investment banking or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience, or MBA and 1+ year of experience
  • Sector expertise within Digital Infrastructure, Telecommunications, or TMT preferred
  • Experience with due-diligence and transaction execution processes required
  • Experience with buy-side and sell-side M&A, equity and debt financing transactions required
  • Strong financial modeling skills and experience of building/maintaining operating models required
  • Experience of preparing and maintaining industry/company presentations and benchmarking materials and other process documents required
  • Experience of financial valuations with knowledge of DCF, LBO, merger modelling, comparable companies, precedent transactions etc. required
  • Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Solid work ethic, motivation level, and strong attention to detail
  • Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities
  • Capacity to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people and act as a point of contact
