About the Role

As an Assets Protection Specialist at Target, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, team members, and assets. You will be responsible for identifying and preventing theft, investigating incidents, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, including apprehending subjects in accordance with company policy
  • Conduct thorough investigations of theft and fraud incidents, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent theft and reduce losses, including analyzing data and identifying trends
  • Collaborate with other teams, including store leadership and operations, to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time
