Critical Care Physician Assistant

Greenstaff Physician & Provider Solutions is seeking a skilled Critical Care Physician Assistant to join our team for a locum assignment in Upstate New York. This opportunity offers a unique chance to work with patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures and provide direct care for medical neurology patients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Critical Care Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for direct patient care, including admission work-ups, daily management, and transfer/discharge. Additionally, you will support unit-based nurses and engage in student precepting. To excel in this role, you will need strong critical thinking skills, the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Board Certification
- NY state license preferred
- 3 years of experience in Critical Care
- Arterial/Main Line Placement experience
- Strong preference for neurosurgical or neurology experience
What We Offer
We are committed to providing competitive compensation and benefits to our employees. For this locum assignment, we offer a pay rate of $105 per hour (W2) with a $1,300 per week stipend or $160 per hour (1099) all-inclusive. Additional benefits include mileage reimbursement, licensure reimbursement, certification reimbursement, full benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K) for W2 employees, and referral bonuses of $2,000.
