Job Overview

JOIN OUR TEAM AS A PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR

In the role of Press Brake Operator, you will be tasked with the operation of specialized machinery for the shaping and manipulation of metal materials. We are looking for individuals with considerable expertise in brake press operations, ideally possessing a minimum of one year of relevant experience in metalworking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize brake press equipment to accurately bend and form metal sheets
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to execute tasks
  • Conduct inspections of finished products to verify compliance with quality standards
  • Evaluate product dimensions, angles, and surface finishes
  • Perform regular maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of worn components to maintain optimal functionality
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment

Compensation: $20.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and potential for growth)

Work Schedule: Flexible first shift options available, either 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience operating a press brake
  • Strong understanding of metalworking techniques, including bending, forming, and shaping
  • Experience with machine setup and maintenance
  • Attention to detail to ensure finished products meet specifications and quality standards
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks
