Bakery Clerk Job Description

The Kroger Company is seeking a skilled Bakery Clerk to join our team. As a Bakery Clerk, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operating equipment according to company guidelines and following basic product handling procedures.
  • Assisting with product production, packaging, presentation, and replenishment to ensure in-stock position of available products.
  • Working effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
