Staff Development and Scheduling Specialist (RN)

Job Summary:

As a Staff Development and Scheduling Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and managing the daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules for the nursing staff at Regency Care of Arlington. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement nursing schedules in accordance with company standards and laws
* Utilize overtime and agency staff only with approval from the Director of Nursing
* Prepare and distribute revised schedules to nursing staff and post at designated areas
* Process requests for shift changes and maintain accurate attendance and tardy records
* Review and correct time sheets/punch detail records each pay period
* Maintain current nursing roster with up-to-date contact information
* Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures, including confidentiality and resident rights
* Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or administrator

Requirements:

* Registered Nurse with valid license in this state
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility
* Ability to perform work tasks within physical demand requirements

Working Conditions:

* Works in an office area as well as throughout the facility
* Moves intermittently during work hours
* Is subject to frequent interruptions
