About the Role:
The Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled Geriatric Medicine Physician to join our dynamic interdisciplinary team. As a Geriatrician, you will provide clinical expertise and mentorship within our team, fostering collaborative relationships with other team members across hospital departments to inform excellence in geriatric care.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in daily Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings to optimize clinical integration and effectiveness of service delivery.
- Represent Geriatric Medicine in at least one campus initiative or committee.
- Provide educational oversight of rotating learners.
- Collaborate in quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with hospital and community partners to ensure appropriate care and transitions.
- Develop and maintain partnerships in strategic arenas throughout the campus.
- Participate in the remote call schedule.
Requirements:
- Board Eligible/Certified in Geriatric Medicine.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
