About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Acute Care Lymphoma and Myeloma Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitor and record patient condition, and communicate with healthcare team members as needed.
  • Coordinate Patient Care: Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs, and assess educational needs of the patient and significant others.
  • Administer Medications and Treatments: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol, and note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Provide Education and Support: Provide teaching and educational material as appropriate, validate and document patient and family understanding of teaching, and maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing, BSN preferred.
  • Certifications: Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA), and other certifications as required by the facility.
  • Work Experience: Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required for acute care settings.
