Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Carle Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized examinations in the specialty area of CT and diagnostic radiology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT and radiographic procedures in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination within the guidelines, policies, procedures, and standards of Medical Imaging.
  • Exhibit competency in performing and filming CT and radiographic procedures, deviating from routines when the patient's condition requires it or at the request of the radiologist.
  • Knowledgeable of procedures and assist radiologist, orders labs and pathology tests, and schedules procedures appropriately.
  • Obtain and document accurate pre and post procedure information as applicable.
  • Maintain quality care throughout the procedure and follow JCAHO patient safety goals.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
  • IEMA Radiography License Illinois or Temp License upon hire.
  • Radiography (R)(ARRT) upon hire or within 1 year.
  • Computed Tomography (CT)(ARRT) upon hire or within 1 year.
