About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist with VitalCaring, you'll work with patients of all ages to restore or maintain their well-being. You'll plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping patients overcome physical, psycho-social, and cognitive impairments.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess patients to determine their appropriateness for care
  • Develop patient-specific care plans with the appropriate level and frequency of care
  • Communicate with the care team, physician, payors, patients, and family to address care needs and fulfill patient care plan goals
  • Deliver high-quality skilled care and supervise the care of other care team members
  • Thoroughly document care delivery daily in our EMR system

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Current Occupational Therapist License
  • Valid state driver's license and auto liability insurance
  • One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care, rehabilitation, or home health setting (preferred)
