Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our Legal Services department, you will provide expert legal guidance and support to our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide general legal services expertise on a wide range of matters, including technology procurements, implementation, and vendor management.
- Advise management on HIPAA compliance, privacy, and security strategies, operations, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop expertise in developing AI law and advise on the use of artificial intelligence.
- Manage dispute resolution and outside counsel in litigation related to technology and privacy.
- Provide counsel related to complex information technology systems.
- Bachelor's degree in science, liberal arts, or another relevant field of study.
- Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working as an attorney with a degree of independence.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience practicing law, in private practice, working as an in-house or government lawyer, or any combination of the foregoing, representing primarily clients in the healthcare industry.
