Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Catholic Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for performing technically adequate echocardiogram examinations, adhering to practice protocol and IAC Echocardiography standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Education: AAS degree or Certificate in Cardiac Sonography is required. BLS certification is also necessary.
  • Experience: Previous Cardiac Sonographer experience with 1000 hours recent clinical cardiac ultrasound is required. A minimum of 1 year experience in Adult Echocardiography is preferred.
  • Knowledge, Skill and Ability: You must be able to learn and adequately perform Stress Echocardiograms where applicable. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain alertness to detect evidence of irregularities in images and equipment malfunctions are essential.

Working Conditions:

  • Required to travel to other TM affiliated locations.
  • Must be able to transport equipment from area to area within the practice and to the patient bedside.

Environment:

  • Intermittent exposure to a few unpleasant physical conditions.
  • Frequently required to work in rooms with low-level lighting or inappropriate lighting.
