Currency Handler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Currency Handler to join our team at Hollywood Casino at the Meadows. As a Currency Handler, you will be responsible for the collection, counting, sorting, and wrapping of currency. You will also participate in the transfer of currency off the floor and transport it to the restricted area for counting. Additionally, you will follow key control procedures and operate currency counters, adding machines, and other auditing functions.

Responsibilities:

* Collect, count, sort, and wrap currency accurately and efficiently.
* Participate in the transfer of currency off the floor and transport it to the restricted area for counting.
* Follow key control procedures to ensure the security and integrity of currency.
* Operate currency counters, adding machines, and other auditing functions to verify currency accuracy.
* Assist with daily maintenance of all count room equipment and cleaning of the room.

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Ability to follow directions repeatedly, precisely, and without deviation.
* Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be fluent and literate in English.
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
* Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
* Ability to work in restricted quarters and maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
