About Us:
Preferred Professional Services (PPS) is an esteemed member of the National Health Care Associates network, comprising over 35 rehabilitation and long-term care facilities dedicated to enhancing the lives of families across the Northeast.
We currently have per diem shifts open in our Long-Term Care and Rehabilitation Centers.
Your Role:
As an Agency Registered Nurse, you will be instrumental in promoting the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your duties will encompass evaluating patient conditions, formulating and executing care strategies, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Performing patient evaluations and creating personalized care plans
- Administering prescribed medications, treatments, and IV therapies
- Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs and health information
- Providing wound care and other necessary nursing interventions
- Working alongside the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery
- Supervising and mentoring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in providing quality care

Qualifications:
To qualify as a Registered Nurse, you should possess:
- A valid state of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license

- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- The capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
