Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist will utilize professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate and treat patients with various physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess patients with physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and team members as needed.
  • Perform necessary documentation and patient/family education, adhering to division protocols.
  • Supervise COTA/L, volunteer, or student as required.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Technical Expertise
  • Experience in vision therapy is preferred.
  • Experience working with various levels within an organization is required.
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or similar software is required.
Education and Experience
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
  • Certification: Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current Ohio state licensure is required.
  • Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.
  • Years of experience supervising: None.
