Job Summary

Signature Flight Support Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Airport Baggage Agent to join our team. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of baggage, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Baggage Handling: Safely and accurately handle baggage, including loading and unloading, and ensuring it is properly secured and stored.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ground Support Equipment Operation: Operate ground support equipment, such as fuel trucks and de-icing trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Flight Line Operations: Assist with flight line operations, including preparing for arriving and departing aircraft, and identifying and performing open job tasks.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless airport operations and provide a positive customer experience.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 3-6 months experience in aviation, customer service, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical ability to lift and move baggage.
  • Certifications: Ability to obtain airport security badge and pass background checks.
Working Conditions

The tasks are performed inside and outside near stationary and moving aircraft, including spinning propellers and engines. Ability to work flexible schedules, including night, holiday, and weekend shifts, and in various weather conditions.
