Position Overview

The Parking Facility Attendant is responsible for a range of duties that contribute to the efficient functioning of the parking operations, while ensuring a level of service that surpasses customer expectations. The attendant plays a vital role in welcoming guests, managing ticket issuance, processing payments, conducting vehicle counts, and maintaining cleanliness within the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor as they arrive and depart.
  • Direct incoming vehicles to available parking spots, acting as a traffic guide.
  • Conduct regular vehicle counts throughout the shift to prevent overcrowding.
  • Perform daily inspections and issue warnings for any violations of parking regulations.
  • Manage traffic flow at entry and exit points, assisting guests with parking inquiries.
  • Support the upkeep and repair of parking equipment and assist with general maintenance tasks as directed.
  • Utilize respectful communication to address guest inquiries and concerns, escalating issues to management as necessary.
  • Promptly report any incidents or safety issues to the appropriate supervisory personnel.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with guests, clients, and colleagues.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally with guests.
