We are seeking a highly skilled CMM Programmer to join our team at GA Precision. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Inspection and Quality Control: Inspect parts, products, and processes to ensure conformance with prints and quality requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare documentation to customer and internal quality requirements.
- CMM Operation and Troubleshooting: Program, operate, and troubleshoot Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
- Problem-Solving and Analysis: Troubleshoot and resolve inaccuracy problems using programmable inspection equipment.
- Surface Finish and Form Testing: Program and operate the programmable surface finish and form test machines.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with measuring devices, ability to use a computer, and knowledge of Calypso software.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and use hands to handle or touch objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally required to sit; reach above shoulders; climb or balance; stoop, or kneel.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
