Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Tooling Engineer or Automotive Tooling Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for preparing bid packages for tooling installation, using the 15% of tooling cost method, to support tool installation timing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare bid packages for tooling installation, using the 15% of tooling cost method, to support tool installation timing.
  • Develop and maintain tooling designs and specifications, ensuring compliance with dimensional control and GD&T standards.
  • Lead the installation of tooling and equipment in an automotive environment, working with skilled trades and contractors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless tooling and equipment installations.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in automotive tooling design and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of dimensional control and GD&T principles.
  • Leadership experience in working with skilled trades and contractors.
  • Individual with experience in tooling and equipment installations in an automotive environment.
