Shift Availability: Full Time & Part Time - Must be 18 Years Old

The Public Area Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the overall ambiance of the Lodge, ensuring it aligns with the high standards set by Great Wolf Resorts and our guests. This position is responsible for the thorough cleaning and upkeep of shared spaces within the resort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning of public spaces, including but not limited to: floors, carpets, restrooms, waterpark areas, elevators, windows, and doors.
  • Ensure elevator areas are kept free of debris.
  • Empty waste receptacles in communal areas.
  • Understand and follow material safety data sheets for all cleaning chemicals.
  • Report any maintenance issues observed in public areas.
  • Operate trash compactors and cardboard balers.
  • Engage with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Deliver items to guest rooms as requested and return them to storage as necessary.
  • Assist with guest room cleaning as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Desired Qualifications & Traits:

  • Previous experience handling cleaning chemicals.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or general cleaning roles.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Able to bend, stretch, and twist.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Able to climb multiple flights of stairs daily and walk frequently.
  • Able to work with chemicals as per instructions.
