Facility Operations Supervisor

Position Summary:
Support the management of a retail establishment by overseeing daily operations and ensuring adherence to established protocols. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evening and weekend shifts. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential for this position, along with proof of personal auto insurance. Background checks will be conducted.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of six months of relevant experience or training.
Leadership Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of at least two employees who manage the daily activities of a minimum of three staff members in both the Retail and Production Processing Departments, depending on the location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to the directives, policies, and standards set forth by Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest.
- Assist customers and donors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Monitor the quality and quantity of work performed by team members to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility and surrounding areas.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are understood and followed by staff.
- Conduct training and performance evaluations for employees in a structured and timely manner.
- Oversee personnel management within the store.
- Keep accurate records of store operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for facility operations in the absence of management, ensuring accurate transaction reporting and processing of donations.
- Engage with customers to guarantee high levels of service.
- Uphold quality control standards in line with Goodwill Industries' operational excellence.
- Organize production areas to facilitate efficient operations.
- Comply with employment practices and EEO guidelines.
- Facilitate individual and group training sessions.
- Encourage open communication across all levels of the facility.
- Implement corrective measures to address performance issues in accordance with policy.
- Follow cash handling and security protocols.
- Enhance financial performance by identifying and addressing discrepancies.
- Develop and execute corrective action plans as necessary.
- Adhere to all policies and safety procedures established by Goodwill Industries.
- Collaborate with Workforce and Family Services to provide participant support.
- Wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times, with violations leading to immediate dismissal.
- Comply with health, safety, and fire regulations, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
