Vascular Ultrasound Technician

As a Vascular Ultrasound Technician, you will conduct vascular ultrasound assessments of patients' lower limbs and other necessary examinations while ensuring a high standard of patient care and maintaining an efficient workflow within the clinic. Your role will also focus on providing an exceptional service experience for each patient.
This clinic operates four days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Employees who work 30 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ultrasound examinations to generate a Venous Flow Map, aiding in the formulation of a safe and effective treatment strategy.
- Collaborate with the Physician to communicate the treatment plan to patients, ensuring it aligns with their specific needs.
- Prepare and sanitize procedure rooms, examination areas, and ultrasound facilities before and after each patient visit.
- Perform additional ultrasound assessments as directed by the Physician to guarantee treatment efficacy and patient safety.
- Follow established time guidelines for each ultrasound examination to maintain a smooth patient flow throughout the day.
- Work alongside office and administrative staff, as well as Physicians, to review the ultrasound schedule, ensuring adequate technician availability for timely patient care.
- Continuously enhance work quality and skills to meet the care standards set by the organization through ongoing education and collaboration with fellow Ultrasound Technologists.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory to ensure seamless operational effectiveness.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Completion certificate from an accredited Ultrasound program, Required
- Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS), Required within 30 days of employment
