About the Role

M RG Exams, a premier provider of independent medical examinations, is seeking a highly skilled Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist to perform comprehensive medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Medical Assessment Professional to utilize their expertise in reviewing medical health records through a secure Web Portal and performing thorough assessments on each veteran.

The selected candidate will also complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal, documenting exam findings needed by the VA.

A key aspect of this role is that it does not involve making disability determinations, as this responsibility lies with the VA.

This position is non-treating and provides medical assessments only.

The ideal candidate will be required to travel throughout ND, MN, WI, SD, IA, WY, NE, CO, KS, OK, TX, and review and assess approximately 4 Veterans per day on average.

Requirements
  • A current license as a Physiatrist is mandatory.
  • Board Certification in either Neurological Surgery, PM&R or Psychiatry and Neurology is required.

The estimated salary for this role is around $120,000-$150,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This figure may vary depending on individual factors such as experience and qualifications.
