About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals at MountainView Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care for a wide range of patients, including those with acute medical conditions, injuries, and chronic illnesses.
  • Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Emergency/Trauma clinical setting.
  • Participate in organizational and unit-based quality improvement activities, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
  • Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
  • CPI certification within 90 days of hire/transfer.
  • ENPC certification within 9 months of hire/transfer.
  • Minimum two years' experience in an emergency department of an acute care facility preferred.
  • Minimum one year critical care experience and/or successful completion of a recognized critical care course or Orientation to Emergency Nursing Course.
