Radiologic Technologist with MA Certification

Job Summary

CareNow urgent care is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist with MA Certification to join our team. As a vital member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our urgent care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform x-ray and imaging services according to provider orders and update patient charts accordingly.
  • Collect patient history and document Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately.
  • Assist with check-in/check-out processes and audit charts as needed.
  • Maintain records and logs on activities, including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent to external labs.
  • Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
  • Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services is required.
  • ARRT Certification is required.
  • General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT) license in the state of residency is required if applicable.
  • Current BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
  • Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
