Job Summary

Production Resource Group LLC is seeking a highly skilled Rigging Technician to join our team. As a Rigging Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and repairing equipment resources in our warehouse. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires strong technical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate workload within the department and act as department lead as needed
  • Maintain, configure, and repair equipment resources in the warehouse, ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Accurately scan equipment barcodes and enter quantity count data into TEAM, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data entry
  • Ensure equipment quality meets or exceeds company standards
  • Complete company paperwork as required
  • Restock equipment correctly according to company standards
  • Participate in loading and unloading of equipment from delivery vehicles
  • Participate in set-up, operation, and break-down of client shows
  • Perform all levels of work from level II
  • Perform related work as required
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years of experience in lighting, video, rigging, and/or logistics
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Trade show, technical school, or post-High School training in an appropriate field may be substituted in whole or in part for the experience requirement
  • Strong customer service skills with ability to self-manage
  • Excellent knowledge of technical principles of operation and maintenance of electronic equipment
  • Excellent knowledge of workplace safety principles and practices
  • Excellent understanding of equipment within the department and how it integrates with the entire show
  • Proven ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot problems
  • Excellent or working knowledge of common computer productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office
  • Excellent knowledge of safe motor vehicle operation and current licensing
  • Customer service orientation, tact, and professionalism
  • Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position, with ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
