We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant with Medication Technician to join our team at Talbot Hospice Foundation, Inc. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals in need of comfort-based care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, as assigned.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, following all organizational processes and regulations.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and ambulation.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any significant changes to the Case Manager.
- Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Meets the training requirements of the State and holds dual licensure as a CNA and CMT.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Must be flexible with work schedule.
- Willing to work all shifts.
- Must work 2-eight hour weekend shifts per month.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
- Understands hospice philosophy and is comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill.
- Satisfactory references from previous employers.
- Is self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
- Demonstrates tact, patience, and good personal hygiene.
- Congregate living home-like clean environment.
- Exposure to infectious diseases.
- Ability to frequently lift at least 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
