Freight Sorter and Loader

We are seeking an experienced Freight Sorter and Loader to join our team at Spee-Dee Delivery Service, Inc. As a critical component of our logistics operations, this role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

Compensation: $20-$22 per hour, including shift differential and overtime pay.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of meeting deadlines and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sort and load freight onto trailers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Unload freight from fleet vehicles and scan package barcode labels for tracking purposes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
