Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Production Assembler who will collaborate effectively within a production team to manufacture and assemble high-quality glass components, doors, frames, and subassemblies.
In this role, you will:
- Assemble or produce component parts into completed subassemblies or finished units, following assembly instructions and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections of parts or completed units using various inspection tools such as gauges, tape measures, and calipers.
- Perform end-of-line product checks and necessary repairs.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding any changes to ensure product specifications are met.
- Assist assembly teams in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Suggest improvements for in-line checks to enhance first-pass yield.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of experience in production assembly.
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Familiarity with 6S methodology.
- Capability to read and comprehend job specifications.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain prolonged periods of standing, walking, or sitting.
