About the Team:
Our Automation Engineering and Instrumentation group is a critical component of Pfizer's manufacturing process. We work closely with various teams, including IT, Instrumentation, and operational teams, to integrate and deploy new technologies. As a Sr. Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems and equipment to support organizational operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement automation solutions to improve manufacturing success rates and ensure zero downtime. * Design, implement, and maintain automated systems and equipment to support organizational operations. * Participate in daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and specifications. * Collaborate with IT, Instrumentation, and operational teams to integrate and deploy new technologies. * Provide technical guidance and training to junior team members and other staff within the department.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience; or a master's degree with more than 0+ years of experience; or an associate's degree with 6 years of experience; or a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage complex/large engineering projects. Hands-on experience with engineering design and validation. Structured query language knowledge. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bonus Points:
Relevant pharmaceutical experience. Training in 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP, ISPE, and Annex 11. Kneat experience. OSI Pi expertise. Understanding of programming, and proficiency in at least one language.
