Job Title: Floral Designer

At Bashas', we're seeking a skilled Floral Designer to join our team. As a key member of our produce floral department, you'll be responsible for creating stunning floral arrangements, gift baskets, and other decorative items that exceed our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and create floral arrangements, bouquets, and other decorative items using a variety of materials, including fresh flowers, foliage, and artificial flowers.
  • Pricing and displaying floral products in sales cases to ensure maximum visibility and appeal.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, answering questions, and making recommendations to customers on floral products and arrangements.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards, and following company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with other team members to achieve sales goals and promote a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; floral design experience a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
