Position Overview
Banner Health is looking for a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Specialist to join our team in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Role Responsibilities
This role involves assisting qualified physicians in executing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The specialist will:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations as per established protocols.
  • Monitor patient responses during procedures and document relevant data.
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for patients and staff.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques and manage the disposal of medical waste appropriately.

Key Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with completion of a Cardiovascular Invasive program or relevant experience.
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required based on specific duties.
  • Successful completion of the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) exams.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting is preferred.

Work Schedule
This position typically involves working four 10-hour shifts, with a requirement for night, weekend, and holiday on-call duties after training.
