Sport Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sport Medicine Specialist to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive sport medicine services, including injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation. They will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that all athletes receive the highest level of care.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to think critically and make sound decisions, while prioritizing the safety and well-being of athletes.

• Injury Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of injuries and develop effective treatment plans to promote optimal recovery.
• Rehabilitation and Conditioning: Design and implement personalized rehabilitation programs to help athletes return to play safely and quickly.
• Health Education and Prevention: Provide education and guidance on injury prevention, nutrition, and wellness to athletes and teams.
• Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with coaches, trainers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordinated care.

• Education and Certification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training (CAATE-approved program) and completion of the BOC certification.
• Licensure: Licensed in the state of practice as an Athletic Trainer.
• Skills and Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
