Job Overview
A leading healthcare provider, AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join our team in Middletown, Connecticut. As a School Psychologist with our organization, you will play a vital role in providing counseling services to students of all ages and backgrounds.

About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic school setting, collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments. Your expertise will be utilized to conduct psychological assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide crisis intervention and support as needed. Additionally, you will coordinate outreach activities that promote student and family well-being. This role requires strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' needs and strengths
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans to address emotional and behavioral issues
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, focusing on mood disorders, autism, anxiety, depression, ADHD, social skill deficits, and conduct disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and community members to create supportive learning environments
- Coordinate outreach activities that promote student and family well-being, including partnerships with pediatricians, outside counseling agencies, and social service organizations

Requirements
- A licensed School Psychologist with a Doctoral degree in Psychology or related field
- Strong knowledge of child development, learning theories, and behavioral interventions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
