We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Chemist to join our team at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior-level professional to advance their career in the environmental consulting industry.
Key Responsibilities- Manage assessment and water treatment/remediation design projects, including permitting and environmental compliance activities.
- Solve complex issues associated with the mining and power industries, such as AMD treatment and CCR disposal.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior scientists, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Develop and execute business development strategies, including market/client intelligence and revenue generation.
- Prepare regulatory submittals and present complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- BS degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, with a Master's or PhD preferred.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with a strong working knowledge of state/federal environmental laws and regulations.
- Experience working with regulatory agency personnel in the tristate area (PA, OH, WV) is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in business development and technical leadership.
