About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team at SDM Payroll, Inc. as a Patient Care Specialist. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' oral health conditions, review health history, and perform oral cancer screenings.
  • Oral Hygiene Services: Remove calculus and plaque from teeth, apply preventive materials, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
  • Teaching and Counseling: Provide patients with personalized guidance on maintaining good oral health, including nutrition counseling and oral hygiene strategies.
  • Administrative Tasks: Make impressions of patients' teeth for study casts and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Associate or advanced degree in Registered Dental Hygienist and state certification/license as required.
  • Experience: One year or more of Registered Dental Hygienist experience preferred, but open to no experience for the right candidate.
  • Skills and Qualities: Possess a strong commitment to patient care, patient health, and quality work.
